Location: Ace of Diamonds Mine, Middleville,
Herkimer County, New York
13 x 11.5 cm.
This outstanding specimen is the largest of its kind we have ever seen. The 2 largest crystals are approximately 6 cm. and 7 cm. The next 4 large ones are 3 cm. to 4 cm. The tips on the 2 largest are chipped and there are some small chips on a couple of others, but this is a spectacular specimen. These crystals are all sitting on a matrix of smoky crystals, some of which are so dark they are black. It makes for great contrast to the clear ones. The specimen sits perfectly flat and displays well.
None of our specimens have been repaired or glued together unless otherwise stated in the description of the specimen.
