The beautiful large galena crystal is 3.6 x 3.3 x 3 cm. There are 4 other interwoven galena crystals also on this specimen. There is virtually no matrix, except that on the top of the large crystal there are some chips of chert that were deposited there during the formation of the galena crystals and are intergrown with them. Quite a unique piece.
None of our specimens have been repaired or glued together unless otherwise stated in the description of the specimen.
