Numerous clear calcite crystals sit on top of saddle shaped dolomite crystals on this specimen. The largest calcite crystal is 1.6 cm.The dolomite crystals are a pale pink but are in perfect condition. There are some iron stains on the right side of this specimen. We collected this piece in a quarry in Saint Eustache with a Professor from Boston University. This was the only way one could get access to this quarry at that time.
None of our specimens have been repaired or glued together unless otherwise stated in the description of the specimen.
