Location:Mathers St. Eustache Quarry, St. Eustache, Quebec, Canada
3.4 x 2.6 cm.
Numerous clear calcite crystals sit on top of saddle shaped dolomite crystals on this specimen. The dolomite are pink and are in perfect condition. The largest calcite is 2 x 1.6 cm. and has a small twin attached. 2 other calcites are twins also. There are some unknown black inclusions on this specimen also. We collected this piece in a quarry in Saint Eustache with a Professor from Boston University. This was the only way one could get access to this quarry.
None of our specimens have been repaired or glued together unless otherwise stated in the description of the specimen.
