

ONLINE ORDERS
We ship USPS Priority Mail for domestic orders and USPS Priority International Air for outside the United States.
DOMESTIC ORDERS
Place the items you would like into your shopping cart and then fill out the order form completely.
Within 48 hours we will send you an email with confirmation of your order, availability and the total amount due including shipping and insurance.
We will hold your specimen until we receive payment. Upon receipt of your payment, and clearing if it is a check, we will ship out the order the next day.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
We will be happy to ship orders any where there is international delivery. International orders under 1KG in weight will be sent USPS Air Mail. It will be fully insured with a full value declaration on the package unless you request otherwise.
Customers may request any package be sent "UNINSURED" and the contents labeled "GEOLOGIC SAMPLES FOR SCIENTIFIC STUDY. NO COMMERCIAL VALUE" This MUST be requested at the time of placing the order . The customer will then assume all risk for any damage or loss to the specimen(s). We will charge the actual cost of shipping once the amount is determined for it's weight, as the cost varies greatly from country to country. Email us with the item you wish to purchase, your address and phone number and we will calculate the shipping and handling costs and notify you of the amount. We reccommend you use Paypal for the transaction, but if you prefer another form of payment contact us at dbminerals@aol.com to make these arrangements.
RETURN POLICY
100% Satisfaction Guaranteed that if you are not completely satisfied with your items you may return them within a 2 week time period. Please email us with the information on which item you are returning and the reason. They must be returned in their original packing materials, unless they arrived damaged. We will not accept them after 2 weeks. We will refund your purchase price, plus shipping both ways once we receive the returned item.
DAMAGED ITEMS
If they arrived damaged please keep the original packing material as it will be needed for insurance claims. We will file a claim with the local Post Office and send you a refund. You will be forwarded the insurance claim from the US Post Office . Please fill out and sign the form. Then you will need to take the claim and the damaged item and packaging to your local post office. They will keep all items as evidence. The Postal Service will then reimburse us .
REASON FOR RETURNING ITEMS
Items are generally returned because they seem to look different in real life than on screen. We try to make the photos as true to reality as possible. We also make sure that each item has it's measurements accurately stated with it's photo, so please make sure you check it's size before ordering.
Another reason an item may look different is that your lighting may be different than ours. We do not use any special lighting to photograph our specimens so when you receive them they should look as good as, if not better than their photo. Computer monitors will many times show things differently than they are and unfortunately there isn't anything we can do about that.
If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase we will gladly refund your money upon receipt of the item in it's original condition within the 2 week time period.
